ARMTRAC 400 UNDERGOING EXPLOSIVE TRIALS

The Armtrac 400 is the latest in this successful family of de-mining vehicles.  It incorporates the latest technology in personnel protection, has a clearance depth

of 50cm and has the versatility to be used in construction as a 4000kg forklift simply by changing the attachments.

The operator's cabin is constructed of 10mm armour and 37mm polycarbonate glass for protection against blast.  The cabin is air-conditioned with 2 air-suspension seats fitted as standard.

An audio-visual warning system controls the engine management system, shutting down the engine if and when problems occur, allowing the operator to concentrate on more important tasks.  Track cruise control is fitted for a continuous constant forward speed.

The Armtrac 400 tows the Armtrac Sifter at 10 kph for maximum speed and clearance to 100%.  See Sifter Information.
